Comedy Works Description: Located just off Larimer Square , the Comedy Works is everything you might expect from a comedy club - tight seating space and a two-drink minimum. The club, which is rated as one of the top four comedy clubs in the country, consistently hosts some of the best names in comedy, including Dave Attell, Bobcat Goldthwait and Arsenio Hall. A separate downstairs bar area offers a great place to wait during nights with multiple shows. Reservations are kept up to 30 minutes before show time. Prices vary depending on the show. Be advised that all shows at Comedy Works are non-smoking. See their website for a list of upcoming events. Since 1981, Comedy Works has been Denver’s destination for the very best in stand-up comedy. In our 25+ years, audiences, A-list comedians and even USA Today have recognized us as being one of the top comedy clubs in the nation! In addition to showcasing the brightest and funniest comics from across the country, we take pride in developing new talent and nurturing the local stand-up comedy scene through New Talent Night, comedy contests, etc. But we’re not just leaving our mark on Denver. Many comedians who got their start with us have moved on to become nationally touring acts, have appeared on television such as Comedy Central, The Tonight Show and Last Comic Standing, and have written for countless television series and major motion pictures. We also produce events outside of our club, host corporate meetings and team building events, & produce charitable functions and shows for children. Some of the superstars we have had the pleasure of presenting include: Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne, Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Ellen DeGeneres, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Rosie O’Donnell, Dennis Miller, Jamie Foxx, Richard Lewis, Lewis Black, and many more. On any given night you will see today’s favorite comics and tomorrow’s future stars. Comedy Works takes pride in bringing the best and brightest stand-up to Denver and we’ve become an integral part of the community. Our tradition will continue with the opening of our second location at The Landmark in Greenwood Village in the winter of 2008.
